1. Updates from Llama 🦙
First, we’d like to take the chance to welcome Puncar to the community.
Llama has a new home on Twitter! Please follow our new handle @llama to stay up to date on all things Llama:
Nouns
In collaboration with VectorDAO, Llama entered Nouns’ Prop House with a proposal to build Pronouns: the Nouns interface for power users.

We’re excited about everything that’s happening with Nouns and are eager to contribute to the community and further its mission. In the coming days, we’ll share early mockups of Pronouns and get to work on building the client.
Aave <> Balancer Strategic Partnership
We executed our proposal for an Aave and Balancer token swap. Aave’s treasury received 200,000 BAL while Balancer received 16,907 AAVE. As we outlined in our initial proposal for the strategic partnership Aave and Balancer have a long history of working together and will both benefit from the swap. Aave will deposit the BAL into the Balancer V2 BAL/ETH (80/20) pool, then use the resulting veBAL to direct BAL rewards to pools that support aTokens, directly increasing TVL for Aave.
In Part 2 of our strategic partnership proposal, we’re proposing that Aave acquire an additional 100,000 BAL, further boosting its power to direct BAL rewards to Aave-supported pools. A Snapshot for the proposal has passed and Llama is now working on the smart contracts required for an on-chain proposal.
We submitted our Aave delegation proposal on the DAO’s forum. If you’d like to delegate your AAVE to Llama, please use this address: 0x5B3bFfC0bcF8D4cAEC873fDcF719F60725767c98.
Gitcoin
Our on-chain proposal to execute a $3m treasury diversification for Gitcoin has passed. Once executed, the proposal will transfer 1.35m GTC to a multisig wallet, where it will then be exchanged for USDC via an agency desk in order to support critical DAO workstream funding needs. Any GTC that remains after this diversification will then be returned to the treasury.
For more on the state of Gitcoin’s treasury and rationale for the exchange, please see the full governance proposal.

DAO Talk Interviews #5 - Shreyas Hariharan x Tally
Shreyas joins Tally’s DAO Talk series to chat about how he got into crypto, DAO tooling, and why DAOs should pay attention to Nouns’ funding model.
3. Opportunities
If you’re a Solidity engineer looking to work on on-chain governance proposals, apply to join our community! You will get to work with a talented group of engineers and deploy smart contracts for top protocols like Aave, Balancer, Gitcoin, Uniswap, and Radicle, among others.
