1. Updates from Llama 🦙
Aave
Our proposal for a 12-month engagement with Aave is now live for an on-chain vote. The vote will last until Saturday, October 8. Our Snapshot proposal passed with near unanimity: 290k AAVE voted for, representing 99.6% of the vote. Feedback from the Aave community has been overwhelmingly positive. We have support from Aave Companies, BGD, Gauntlet, university blockchain clubs, leading investors, and active Aave community members. For more details on our proposed engagement, see our forum post here.
We put up a proposal to unwind Aave’s aFEI holding for DAI, which would then be deposited into Aave’s DAI reserve. While the proposal had near-unanimous support, it missed quorum by 8k votes. We re-launched the proposal yesterday.
We received AAVE delegation power from Balancer. As an active contributor to both the Aave and Balancer communities, we have worked to find synergies and unlock growth potential across both ecosystems, including leading an AAVE <> BAL token swap and whitelisting Balancer’s Liquidity Mining Claim.
Nouns
Pronouns, our Nouns interface for power users, launched last week! We collaborated with VectorDAO to bring Nouns bidders the best interface for bidding on daily auctions.
Our new interface gives bidders important auction data at a glance, including:
Average price of the 14 previous auctions
# of Nouns owned by current bidders
Amount of ETH held by current bidder
Rarity of individual Nouns traits
and much more
We’d love your feedback on the launch! Feel free to DM us on Twitter or leave a message in the Pronouns channel on the Nouns Discord.
Safe
Congrats to the SafeDAO team on a successful SAFE launch! As longtime users of the Safe multisig and believers in the DAO economy, we have put ourselves forward as a delegate for SafeDAO.

Business-to-DAO Deals Gain Traction - Boardroom
The Boardroom team breaks down the trend of B2DAO proposals. Recent examples include Coinbase’s Maker proposal and our proposal to work with Aave. While the trend is still young and evolving rapidly, Boardroom expects more businesses and service providers to begin explore work with DAOs in the future.
Check the chain - storm
Check the chain (ctc) is an open-source tool for analyzing historical Ethereum data. The library can be used as a CLI tool or as a Python library. Building anything cool with ctc? We’d love to hear about it!

3. Opportunities
If you’re a Solidity engineer looking to work on on-chain governance proposals, apply to join our community! You will get to work with a talented group of engineers and deploy smart contracts for top protocols like Aave, Balancer, Gitcoin, Uniswap, and Radicle, among others.
