Aave

We’ll be hosting a Llama <> Aave Twitter Space at 11:00 am ET this morning where we’ll cover our work in the ecosystem and give community members a chance to ask questions. We hope you’ll join us!

We currently have 2 proposals live for on-chain votes:

  1. Aave v2 ETH Interest Rate Curve Update

  2. Set LDO, stMATIC, MaticX and SD Emission_Admin for Polygon v3 Liquidity Pool

Aave v2 ETH Interest Rate Curve Update
This proposal will update the rate curve for ETH, resulting in a higher utilization and more revenue for the DAO.

In anticipation of an Aave V3 deployment on mainnet, with a wstETH and ETH eMode likely, we are proposing to update the ETH interest rate on V2 such that a looped recursive strategy breaks even within Slope 1, where the Interest Rate changes are less volatile.

Set LDO, stMATIC, MaticX and SD Emission_Admin for Polygon v3 Liquidity Pool
We also resubmitted our proposal to assign the Emission_Admin role for LDO, stMATIC, MaticX, and SD tokens for Aave’s Polygon V3 Pool after quorum was missed on the previous vote. This proposal allows multisigs from Lido, Polygon Foundation, and Stader to distribute liquidity mining rewards across the Polygon V3 deployment.

Upgradeable Llama NFTs

In partnership with Metagame, we launched a collection of upgradeable NFTs for members of the Llama community. These NFTs represent membership in Llama and are upgradeable, allowing contributors to reflect their Llama contributions on-chain.

Llama contributors are now able to mint their NFTs on the Llama platform. Each NFT contains a unique combination of fur color and eye style. Over time, contributors will unlock traits for their llamas as they continue contributing to Llama. At launch, the NFT’s background attribute is upgradeable.

To read more about our upgradeable contributor NFTs, see our Mirror post.

2. Herd on the Street

Nouns DAO Debates Funding a Custom Governance Platform - Boardroom
Currently, Nouns DAO’s governance system is a fork of the popular Governor Bravo framework. A proposal was made from House of Nouns to build an improved UI and framework. After a controversial vote, House of Nouns withdrew their proposal in order to incorporate community feedback.
