1. Updates from Llama 🦙
Aave
We launched our Aave dashboard, a one-stop shop for the protocol and analytics about the Aave protocol and DAO. Our goal is to provide the most useful data to contributors, users, and voters of Aave to make informed decisions.
The dashboard will allow members of the community to get relevant, up to date data on Aave’s:
Treasury
Stablecoin balances
Governance proposals
Financials & runway
In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding dashboards that display more information on Aave’s runway, financials, and Aave Grants DAO.
We’d love for you to check out the site at community.llama.xyz/aave and share any feedback! If you have ideas for data that you’d like to see on the UI, please feel free to share in the comments below or on Aave’s forum.
In other news, we proposed and executed 4 on chain proposals in the last several weeks.
stMATIC SupplyCap Increase Polygon v3 - facilitates the expansion of the stMATIC/wMATIC loop strategy.
CRV Interest Rate Curve Upgrade - increases the Supply Cap on Polygon V3 and improves capital efficiency of various pools.
MaticX Supply Cap Increase Polygon v3 - increases the Supply Cap on Polygon V3, allowing Stader Labs to continue distributing SD rewards to incentivize the pool.
OP Emission_Admin for Optimism v3 Liquidity Pool - allows Lido to distribute OP rewards across Aave V3 Optimism.
We also published our February 2023 financial report. Revenue was down 39% month over month, while treasury holdings at month end totaled $144.1m (with 76% of the treasury in AAVE).
We also shared a proposal on Aave’s forum for the creation of an Excessive Debt Facility, which would enable the repayment of excess debt of $5,000 or more on Aave deployments.
We’ll be hosting our 6 month Llama <> Aave Twitter Spaces on April 13 at 11am ET. Join us for updates on our engagement with Aave and plans for the next 6 months of our engagement.
