1. Updates from Llama 🦙
Aave
Llama has reached the 7th month of our 12-month engagement with Aave, so we recently shared our 7th monthly update of our work with Aave governance - we’d love to hear your feedback and questions!
We also published our Q1 2023 financial report. Aave saw strong increases in quarterly revenue, with the protocol now being in a CF positive runway position, while treasury holdings at month end totaled $135.6m (with 73.8% of the treasury in AAVE). For more on Aave’s runway, see our live dashboard.
From Q4 2022 to Q1 2023, most key financial measures have experienced positive growth, which can be attributed to the release of new Aave markets and more favorable market conditions.
In the last two weeks, Llama proposed and executed 3 on-chain proposals:
BAL Interest Rate Upgrade - amends the BAL interest rate parameters across all BAL Reserves.
Add wstETH to Polygon Aave v3 - proposes to add wstETH to the Polygon v3 Liquidity Pool.
Increase SupplyCap stMATIC Polygon & wETH Arbitrum - increases the stMATIC Supply Cap on Polygon and the wETH Supply Cap on Arbitrum.
In other news, we also kicked off several discussions on Aave’s forum:
