Opportunities - ways you can get involved with Llama
1. Updates from Llama 🦙
Llama
Llama is building a governance system for onchain organizations. We wrapped up a security audit with Spearbit and began a Code4rena contest last week. We look forward to working with wardens and security professionals to secure onchain governance. If you're an early-stage protocol looking to decentralize, reach out to us!
Aave
We’ve reached the 8th month of our 12-month engagement with Aave and recently shared our 8th monthly update of our work with Aave governance - we’d love to hear your feedback and questions!
Earlier this month, we shared a new ARFC on Aave’s forum to update the wMATIC Supply and Borrow Cap on Polygon v3 to facilitate continued deposits from Balancer linear pools and migration from v2 to v3 on Polygon. This update was recently executed via Risk Steward.
We’ve updated our Aave dashboard with two new sections: Aave Grants & Safety Module.
Aave Grants Dashboard tracks Aave Grants’s expenditures across various categories and time frames and provides data on Aave Grants’s current token holdings.
Safety Module Dashboard provides comprehensive insights into the performance and participation of the Safety Module in securing the Aave protocol. Including historical value, APR, composition, protocol cover, emissions, premiums, TVL of covered pools, percentage of coverage, staker count, and distribution.
You can now choose whether or not to include Aave’s Ecosystem Reserve in historical and current treasury balances by using the toggle in the top right of the Treasury dashboard.
2. Herd on the Street
Rollups, Rigor, and Reality, @kelvinfichter
Kelvin discusses the concept of rollups and its relationship with bridging systems, analyzing the tension between the theoretical potential of rollup bridges and their current practical limitations.
Uniswap v4 Unveiled
The fourth iteration of Uniswap introduces customizable pools, open-source hooks, bringing architectural improvements that reduce costs and enable developers to create innovative pools while leveraging Uniswap's security and network effects.
3. Opportunities
We’re looking for a senior frontend/full stack engineer. If you fit the bill, please email careers@llama.xyz.
