1. Updates from Llama 🦙
Aave
We’re hosting our next Llama <> Aave community Twitter Spaces today at 11:00 am ET. We’ll share updates and insights from our work with Aave. - we hope you’ll join us!
We’ve reached the 9th month of our 12-month engagement with Aave and recently shared our monthly update of our work with Aave’s governance forum - we’d love to hear your feedback and questions!
Last Friday, we shared a new ARFC on Aave’s forum to increase the MaticX Supply Cap on Polygon v3. This will facilitate the continued growth of MaticX; the proposal aims to increase the Supply Cap to 75% of supply on Polygon (from 38.0m to 50.6m units).
In the last two weeks, Llama also shared 2 new proposals on the forum:
[TEMP CHECK] Treasury Management - Introducing StrategicAssetManager - Llama proposes the implementation of the StrategicAssetManager, a dedicated contract for managing Aave DAO's strategic assets, starting with the veBAL holding. This proposal aims to optimize governance and rewards by continually relocking veBAL and enabling participation in Balancer's governance.
[TEMP CHECK] Introducing “Curator” by Llama - Llama introduces the Curator, a dedicated contract for asset exchange with MEV and price-impact protection. The Curator allows for asset swapping, acquiring LSTs, and asset transfers. Its purpose is to efficiently manage the DAO's assets, facilitate asset exchanges, and mitigate risks.
